Relay for Life Corporate Sponsor

Clay Electric is a proud participant of the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life fundraising program. The co-op sponsors the Relay for Life events because of its commitment to good corporate citizenship in its North Florida service area.

Employees of Clay Electric played an active role in the Relay for Life fundraising efforts in 2010 by participating in the Relay for Life event in Keystone Heights. The team was awarded a trophy for being the “Top Overall Fundraising Team” with $10,026 raised. Clay Electric was the only Gold Team at Keystone’s Relay this year that raised over $10,000. All total, employees have raised over $81,000 in the fight against cancer in recent years.

In previous years the co-op's employees raised thousands of dollars for Hospice by hosting a golf tournament.

For two years the co-op also was the corporate sponsor of the Boy Scouts' "Scout Blast" which hosted hundreds of scouts throughout Florida.

Clay Electric employees routinely volunteer their time in a number of charitable organizations in order to help others. Its part of the community spirit of Clay Electric's employees who live and work in their respective communities.
