Engineer – Substation Division

Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc. located in Keystone Heights, Florida, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Engineer in the Substation division of the Engineering department. This position requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering plus two and one half (2 ½) years of related experience. Individuals in this position must maintain a valid State of Florida driver’s license. Experience in the following areas of substation engineering within an electric utility is also preferred: developing substation drawings and schematics, SEL protective relays and communication processors, designing protective relay schemes, physical substation layout design, material/equipment specifications, and National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). Clay Electric Cooperative, Inc. located in Keystone Heights, Florida, is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Engineer in Training for the Engineering department.  This position requires graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering in electrical, mechanical, industrial, civil, chemical, nuclear or computer science fields. Related course work in Electrical Engineering is preferred. Individuals in this position must maintain a valid State of Florida driver’s license.
