- Pay online.
Use the Account Information System to pay online when and where you choose. All you need is your Clay Electric account number, your checking or savings account number and the routing number of your bank. You have the flexibility to use this every month or once in a while, and you can be assured that your payment will be securely processed.
- Sign up for the Automatic Monthly Payment Plan.
For the greatest convenience, participate in the Automatic Monthly Payment Plan, which allows your payment to be withdrawn from your specified bank account on the due date of the electric bill. Your bill is always paid and always on time, so it is one less thing for you to worry about.
Please note that the Automatic Monthly Payment Plan is not for making an immediate payment or for paying a bill already due.
- Pay at a local district office...
Pay at the front counter or drive-through window at your local district office during regular working hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday). Cash, check and money orders are accepted. Payments made after 3 p.m. will be applied to your account the next business day.
Pay at the drop box of your local district office at any time. However, a payment may not be credited to your account until the next working day. Please do not deposit cash in the drop box. Deposit a check or money order and include your bill statement stub along with your payment.
- Pay at a local retail store.
Pay at a retail store in your community by using a Fidelity Express payment station. Payments are credited to the account within 30 minutes during normal work days. Fidelity Express charges a $1.50 transaction fee at the time of transaction. Checks, money orders and cash are accepted.
You can also use the account-specific barcode printed on the back of each bill. CheckOut by PayGo, which is offered through the PayGo company, allows members to pay their bills using the barcode at Dollar General stores. Cash will be accepted at all locations. A convenience fee of $1.95 will be added at checkout. CheckOut by PayGo creates a real-time cash payment solution for members who do not have bank accounts.
- Pay by mail.
Pay by mail by using the payment envelope included with your bill statement each month. Don't forget the bill statement stub to assure payment is credited to the correct account. Mail to Clay Electric Co-op, P.O. Box 308, Keystone Heights, FL 32656.
- Pay by phone.
For those times when you just can't get it in time, you can use a touch phone to pay 24 hours a day. If needed during regular business hours, a customer service rep can assist you. All you need is your Clay Electric member number, your checking or savings account number and the routing number of your bank.
- Pay by credit or debit card online or over the phone
Clay Electric offers a convenient credit and debit card payment option for members. All debit and credit card payments are processed through Western Union SpeedPay, an independent service provider. A processing fee of $2.95 will be charged by Western Union SpeedPay. Clay Electric does not receive any portion of this fee. The minimum payment amount is $10.00 and the maximum payment amount is $600.00.
