The Carlton Foundation for Kids, Inc. exists to partner with local hospitals to advance healing for hospitalized children in Northeast Florida. Funds from the grant will support the Toy Closet Program at Baptist Medical Center.
 

United Way of Suwannee Valley - $10,000

The United Way of Suwannee Valley is committed to advancing the common good in its community by building strong relationships with community partner impact agencies that share the goals of improving people’s lives and strengthening communities. The Early Learning Coalition of Florida’s Gateway is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that all children in Columbia, Hamilton, Lafayette, Suwannee, and Union counties enter school ready to learn and succeed. Grant funds will support the Family Scholarship Program, which offers scholarships to families with young children whose parents are currently enrolled at Florida Gateway College.
 

South Putnam Church - $15,000

South Putnam Church in Crescent City operates a food pantry to provide essential food and support to individuals and families facing financial hardship and food scarcity. Funding from the grant will help purchase a walk-in cooler.
 

Mirror Image Leadership Academy - $11,745

Mirror Image Leadership Academy (MILA) is a unique three-year leadership academy based in Gainesville for minority males in grades 7-9 to develop self-confidence and leadership skills. Grant funds will be used to provide transportation for scholars to the Extended Day Academy program.

The Kanapaha Middle School Coyote Band Boosters supports band students in achieving their best as musicians. Grant funds will help purchase new instruments.
 

Alachua County Youth Fair and Livestock Show - $15,000

The Alachua County Youth Fair & Livestock Show Association is a volunteer group that conducts and operates public fairs and expositions pertaining to agricultural matters and more particularly to the exhibitions of livestock, poultry, crafts, youth projects, and farm products. Grant funding will purchase new exhibit displays and equipment.

God’s Kitchen is a volunteer organization in Palatka that provides and delivers one hot meal per day to adults who are permanently or temporarily homebound due to a mental or physical disability. Grant funding will be applied to essential kitchen renovations.
 

The Arc of Putnam County - $20,000

The Arc of Putnam County, Inc. provides advocacy, individually tailored living environments, meaningful day activities, work training, employment services and support to approximately 130 adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities including autism, cerebral palsy, Down's syndrome and spina bifida. Grant funds will be used to create a sensory room for the adult training program.
 

Salty Family Services - $1,500

Salty Family Services in Ormond Beach seeks to rescue, serve and empower families to prevent child abuse and neglect. Funds from the grant will support the Mentor Program to promote family preservation and stability.

The Georgetown/Fruitland volunteer fire station provides emergency services and community programs for Putnam County. Funding from the grant will be applied to the renovation of the community center.

Presbyterian Social Ministries provides services to the needy, including permanent and temporary housing, clothing assistance, and volunteer assistance. Grant funds will support the Clothing with Purpose program.
 

Food Bridge of Black Creek Methodist Church - $12,900

The Food Bridge of Black Creek Methodist Church offers a helping hand to economically challenged families and individuals through food distribution. Funds from the grant will be applied to the purchase of a walk-in freezer.

The Fostering Foundation in Ocala is dedicated to strengthening the foster care system by recruiting and retaining foster families while restoring hope and stability to children impacted by trauma and displacement. Grant funds will support the Urgent Needs Items program.

The William Bartram Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Palatka is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women's service organization dedicated to historic preservation, education and patriotism. Funding from the grant will assist with a mural painting for the Liberty Tree dedication in celebration of America’s 250th birthday.

The Bradford County Education Foundation exists to improve the quality of education by increasing community involvement and support for the eight Bradford County Public Schools. Grant funds will provide science, STEM, math and reading materials for grades K-7.

The Garden Club of Palatka is an organization that seeks to educate members and the public about gardening and related activities. Grant funds will be applied to the construction of a new handicap ramp at the 90-year-old cypress cabin in The Ravine Gardens State Park.
 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes - $15,827

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes focuses on serving local communities around the globe by engaging, equipping and empowering coaches and athletes to unite, inspire and change the world through the gospel. Grant funds will provide materials for FCA Campus and Community Huddle group sessions.

Christian Service Center of Columbia County - $15,000

The Christian Service Center of Columbia County is a nonprofit serving the residents of Columbia County since 1984. The scope of assistance provided includes food, clothing, utility bills, gas assistance, bus tickets, emergency lodging and prescription assistance. The grant funds will be used for the Christian Service Center’s Client Assistance Program to help residents with utility bills and food assistance.
 

First Coast Women’s Services - $1,000

First Coast Women’s Services, Inc. provides pregnancy support services to the First Coast region and surrounding counties. Funding from the grant will support the expansion of the Call Center.
