Ruger Super Blackhawk 44 magnum 1966 vintage . very very rare 6 1/2" barrel. This was a employe mistake . He was to be cutting 6.5" barrels for a 41 magnum !!! He took 44 magnum barrel stock instead and cut 600 44 mag barrels! Bill Ruger said lets use them !!! That gun was never catalogued. They were in the S/N range of 24300 to 27164 mine is 25779 . My revolver is in 99% mint condition only minimal use at all not even a drag line on the cylinder 100% original grips and no transfer bar kit put in it , original 3 SCREW SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER.
